The Z-Bolt® C-TRIP-IR has been recently adopted by US Navy EOD and is now deployed in the operational forces. EOD techs use to illuminate and fluoresce trip and command wires. The C-TRIP-IR projects a brilliant Infrared Laser Line. (night vision optics required) A 60 degree fan which projects a 15' line @ 15'. Easily scan doorways, halls or stair wells with one pass. Choice of Modular Pouch included for battlefield transport and stowage. Laser Power Actuator on Battery End Cap Assembly; Constant On/Off performance.

The Z-Bolt® C-TRIP-IR is an FDA Class 1, IEC-ANSI Class 1 Infrared Laser. Infrared Laser Line Generator emits a bright, infrared laser line - powered by easily procured CR123A batteries, common to most laser, scope and tactical light systems. The C-TRIP-IR provides an effective solution for night ops/stealth Trip Wire Detection. (night vision optics required)


Field Report - Navy EOD Tech, EOD Group Two: "I have been evaluating the C-TRIP-IR (Green & Infrared Laser Trip Wire Illuminators) extensively with various Navy EOD teams. The unit has been put to good use for trip wire searches in a high speed assault atmosphere. Navy EOD doesn't have all day to clear areas during assaults because of the fast pace. This tool allows quick scanning of the area in a fraction of the time spent using a green dot laser. It has done well with all trip wire types ie, copper wire, metal wire, fishing line, and regular thin rope type material. The tool is also good to highlight the path of command wire quickly. The guys really like it".

C-TRIP-IR-PL includes power lock out function - weapons interface tube for easy mounting to our LMA-10 Laser Rail Mount. Quick release lever; attaches easily to 1913 rails.

C-TRIP-IR-PLK includes power lock out function as well - tube casing 1" knurled for superior grip and portable, hand held use. Attaches easily to any standard 1" tactical light mount.
